It also features a vintage ribbed gold metal bead, a vintage faceted glass bead and a brass coloured curtain ring. It fastens with a new lobster clasp at the back of the necklace. Made from a silk ribbon which was once part of a dress, wood from a desk drawer, waste leather from the upholstery industry and piles of broken jewellery. We have printed onto the ribbon and wood with a matt dark fuchsia colour and the ribbon is finished with dark green leather ends and antique black rivets. The necklace fastens with the ribbon, so you can tie it at variable lengths to make it a feature or not. The piece is made with ten different types of chain in silver, brass, bronze, gold, and pearl coloured. Creating contrast and tone. This limited edition pendant is constructed from four vintage chains contrasting in gold silver and bronze. The main feature is a brushed brass coloured teardrop locket (which functions) pendant. The locket measures cm x 1.5cm. Hanging from the pendant is a beaded and mixed chain detail. The chains are in gold and silver and drop down to 10cm. Attached to the chains are one faceted pale blue bead and a vintage anthracite bead. The piece measures 36cm when laid out flat with a 5 cm extender and fastens with a new lobster clasp.
